Sap Sd Consultant

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead blueprint workshops and assist in the design and implementation of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) solutions.
• Configure SAP SD modules based on business requirements, ensuring optimal system setup and functionality.
• Lead the custom development of SAP solutions, particularly in areas such as PRICEFW (Pricing Framework).
• Participate in cutover activities, data migration, and ensure smooth system transition and deployment.
• Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide user training and ensure successful knowledge transfer during project implementation phases.
• Offer hyper-care support post-implementation to ensure smooth system operations.
• Develop EDI interfaces, ensuring efficient and seamless electronic data exchange with external systems.
• Demonstrate expertise in SD-FI (Accounts Receivable, Inventory Accounting, Inter-company Processing) integrations.
• Work closely with MM (Materials Management) teams, understanding SD-MM integration and how MM fields impact SD processes.
• Design and implement SD pricing models, ensuring integration with relevant business processes and modules.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and offer effective solutions, providing strong client-facing support.
• Lead and guide the team throughout all phases of SAP SD implementation, ensuring the project is delivered on time and meets client expectations.
• Advocate a process improvement approach, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in addressing client needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 to 7 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant, with at least 1-2 life cycle implementations of SAP ECC.
• Hands-on experience with SAP SD configuration, custom development (PRICEFW), and integration.
• Strong knowledge of EDI interface development.
• Expertise in SD-FI integration, specifically AR (Accounts Receivable), inventory accounting, and inter-company processing.
• Strong understanding of SD-MM integration, particularly how MM fields impact SD processes.
• Experience in setting up and designing SD pricing models and their integration with other SAP modules.
• Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to understand client needs and lead the implementation process.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team through all phases of SAP implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and a focus on continuous process improvement.
