SAP CAPM Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), ensuring robust backend and frontend solutions.
• Design and implement backend services using Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, and OData v4 services to integrate with SAP platforms.
• Create and enhance frontend applications using SAP Fiori, UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to deliver user-friendly and responsive interfaces.
• Work with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services, including Cloud Foundry, Kyma, SAP HANA Cloud, Event Mesh, and Integration Suite.
• Build and optimize database models in SAP HANA Cloud using CDS Views and SQLScript for seamless data integration and performance.
• Ensure secure application architecture and data management through implementation of OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Collaborate in the implementation and automation of DevOps practices with tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and SAP BTP CI/CD tools for continuous integration and delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full application stack, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and project managers, to meet project objectives and deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM).
• Proficiency in backend development technologies, including Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, and OData v4 services.
• Expertise in frontend development with SAP Fiori, UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid understanding of SAP BTP services like Cloud Foundry, Kyma, SAP HANA Cloud, Event Mesh, and Integration Suite.
• Extensive experience in database modeling, particularly with SAP HANA Cloud, CDS Views, and SQLScript.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, including OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and SAP BTP CI/CD tools.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
