Job Description

Job Title: Banquet Sales Manager

Location: Ridhira Retreat, Nanakaramguda, Hyderabad

Department: Sales & Business Development

Timings: 9.30 Am to 6.30 Pm (Monday to Saturday)

Job Summary:

The Banquet Sales Manager will be responsible for generating banquet sales, building strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other key stakeholders, and ensuring seamless execution of events. The role involves driving revenue through banquet bookings, managing client interactions, and coordinating with operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve banquet sales targets.
  • Identify and approach potential corporate clients, event planners, wedding organizers, and other key prospects to promote banquet facilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct site visits and showcase banquet venues to potential clients, highlighting unique offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and packages to maximize revenue while maintaining profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns, advertisements, and digital marketing strategies for banquet sales.

Event Coordination & Client Management:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and provide customized solutions.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between sales, operations, F&B, and other teams to execute events successfully.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications, contracts, and event details.
  • Oversee event execution to ensure client satisfaction and handle any last-minute changes or issues.

Revenue & Financial Management:

  • Develop banquet pricing strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Monitor banquet sales performance, revenue, and profitability, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Work towards achieving monthly and annual sales targets.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

  • Keep up with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance Ridhira Retreats banquet sales strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in banquet sales, event sales, or hospitality sales, preferably in resorts, hotels, or event venues.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and event management tools.
