Sr. Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis (Cement Manufacturing)

Role & responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary. Provide insights into business performance by analysing key financial metrics.
• Board Meeting Preparation :- Prepare Board meeting presentation and other related deliverables.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing and managing the Annual Operating budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasts. Collaborate with business unit leaders to ensure alignment between operational goals and financial outcomes.
• IBP Process :- Assist in BP process by providing support in the preparation for MPR, IR. MBR meetings
• Financial Modelling: Create and maintain detailed financial models for different business scenarios (e.g., P&L projections, cash flow forecasting, capital expenditure analysis).
• Working with Cross Functional Team:- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations) to understand business drivers, evaluate financial performance, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Variance Analysis: Identify and explain variances between actual and budgeted financial performance. Provide recommendations for corrective actions or process improvements.
• Strategic Analysis: Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives, mergers/acquisitions, cost-cutting measures, and strategic investments.
• Data Integrity & Automation: Ensure the accuracy of financial data by maintaining and improving reporting systems, data integrity, and processes. Implement automation where applicable to streamline financial reporting.
• Financial Systems & Tools: Leverage financial software tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc.) to create efficient and effective reporting solutions. Stay updated on new financial technologies.
