Role: Head Secondary Logistics – North & West

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 15-20 yrs

Position Summary:

Establishing an efficient Supply Chain Model supporting volume and profitability for organization by managing optimal dispatches from 4 plants (6 MnT) of North & West India, Support Sales with the Secondary logistics operations for the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, UP and Maharashtra with the support of both Central, Plant and Secondary logistics team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Looking after the Distribution and logistics activity for entire North & West Operations from 4 plants.
• Coordination with cross functional departments for Implementation and monitoring of IBP process.
• Linkage optimization and monitoring of distribution costs and enable sales team to maximize contribution.
• Working in close coordination with North & West Sales team to achieve the Sales & Dispatch targets.
• Competition Benchmarking, PTPK benchmarking & Market intelligence.
• Monitoring deliverables of secondary logistics for the entire north & west regions.
• Logistics Partners appointment, service level monitoring.
• Ensure the compliances of internal mechanism and statutory requirement including safety
• Coordination with Finance team for Distribution Cost forecasting, Variance & Loss Tree Analysis of different Logistics Cost parameters & sales loss.
• Training & development of potential candidates for future managers.
• Adherence of strict Object oriented and measureable derivable monitoring for logistics operations team.
