Embedded System Engineer - Autosar (6-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Embedded Software Development :

- Expertise in AUTOSAR development and integration.

- Design and develop software components (SWC), configure and integrate them with the Basic Software (BSW) and middleware layers.

- Work on multicore embedded systems and handle hardware board bring-up and high-performance computing (HPC) in embedded environments.

- Application development on Linux/RTOS platforms and utilize tools like CMake, Make, and GCC for build systems.

Communication Protocols Expertise :

- Implement and configure communication protocols including CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, SOME/IP, and MQTT.

Platform & Tools Experience :

- Develop and test on Linux and RTOS platforms.

- Hands-on experience with QEMU, Yocto, and build systems such as CMake and Make.

Validation & Testing :

- Perform unit, functional, integration, and system testing.

- Design test cases aligned with ISO29119 standards.

- Experience with virtual digital validation techniques and strong knowledge of test design methodologies.

Team Leadership & Collaboration :

- Guide and mentor a small team of engineers (3-5 members), ensuring effective collaboration, training, and quality delivery.

- Interact with customers to understand their requirements and present solutions.

- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address embedded system challenges.

Validation Skills :

- Deep knowledge of test design techniques (ISO29119) and verification/validation (unit, functional, integration, system testing).

- Experience with virtual digital validation.

Skills and Qualifications :

Experience : 6+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development, particularly with AUTOSAR.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of the embedded software stack (App, Middleware, BSP).

- Expertise in SWC design, configuration, and integration with BSW.

- Proficient in C++ development for embedded systems.

- Extensive experience with communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, SOME/IP, MQTT).

- Familiar with Linux/RTOS platforms and tools such as CMake, Make, and GCC.

- Hands-on experience with QEMU and Yocto Projects.
