Summary

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our AML and Fraud team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for detecting, investigating, and mitigating fraudulent activities that could impact the organization and its customers. This role involves analyzing transactions, identifying suspicious behaviors, and implementing strategies to prevent and address fraud while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

What you will do

• Hands on experience in monitoring real-time and post-transaction data to identify unusual or suspicious activities.
• Expertise in analyzing patterns, trends, and potential fraud indicators in customer and transaction data.
• Expertise in investigation of alerts generated by AML and fraud detection systems.
• Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) or equivalent regulatory filings.
• Expertise in analysing accounts and data to identify suspected fraud activity.
• Expertise in analysing accounts and transaction patterns to determine existing fraud trends.
• Expertise in Research regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of information.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Good experience of working closely with other departments, including legal, compliance, and operations, to address risks.
• Provide fraud-related insights to cross-functional teams, including risk, compliance, and IT.
• Conduct detailed reviews of flagged transactions and escalate cases as needed.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor s degree in finance, Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in AML, fraud investigation, or a related field.
• Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems and analytical tools
• Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to think critically.
• Strong customer service skills when interacting with affected clients.
