Job Description
- Design, implement, and manage VMware NSX architecture, including logical switching, routing, and security policies.
- Collaborate with network and systems teams to integrate NSX with existing infrastructure and services.
- Configure and manage NSX features such as micro-segmentation, load balancing, and VPN.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize NSX deployments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for NSX architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Implement security best practices and compliance measures within the NSX environment.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and end-users regarding NSX functionalities.
- Stay updated with VMware NSX product updates, trends, and best practices.
- Operate and troubleshoot VMware NSX deployments
- Proven experience with VMware NSX, including deployment and administration (minimum 5-7 years).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, etc.).
- Familiarity with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and other VMware products.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, etc.) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization (VCP-NV)) are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Configure and manage NSX Edge network virtualization component
- Concepts of load balancers and their function and feature
