We are currently seeking a Event and Impact Management Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
Event and Impact Management Specialist with 5+ years of relevant experience. Should have a strong background in managing IT events and assessing their impact on business operations, along with expertise in monitoring tools such as BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM) , OPSRAMP.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze events within the IT infrastructure using Opsramp.
Well versed with event integration from different sources.
Coordinate and manage incident response efforts, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
Develop and maintain documentation related to event and impact management processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of incidents and implement preventative measures.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of monitoring configurations and alert thresholds.
Provide training and guidance to team members on event management best practices.
Generate and present reports on event trends, impacts, and resolution metrics to stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in event management tools and methodologies.
Work closely with IT, operations, and customer to analyze event to understand the scope of correlation.
Facilitate post-incident reviews to identify scope of event storm and apply appropriate event storm rule.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in event and impact management within an IT environment.
Proficiency on either of the tools BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM) or OPSRAMP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
