Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Technical Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and experience in managing software and data products. You will play a critical role in defining the vision and strategy for the product, interface with key stakeholders to understand their pain points and needs, define product specifications, and work closely with engineering to bring innovative solutions to market. You will drive to get the right things done. At the core of the position is delivery.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Associate Technical Product Manager specializing in product requirement definition, technical product road map (short-, mid- and long-term horizon) and sprint management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product strategy to solve real-world data problems and create highly scalable applications on cloud. You will collaborate very closely with the data (Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data Science) team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with product teams to define strategy and requirements, developing a deep understanding of use cases and processes
- Help drive product decisions to align with company goals
- Write detailed functional requirements and acceptance criteria
- Analyze cost/benefit of features and technologies
- Define the roadmap and milestones for the product delivery
- Lead change management projects to support product teams scaling novel solutions
- Design measurements to track impact and drive improvement
- Author and maintain documentation and training guides
- Stay current and report on industry trends, including new opportunities, competitor capabilities, etc.
- Measure and analyze existing products and business models for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to internal stakeholders and customers
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver products to market using agile development methodologies
- Communicate planning, project status, issues, and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders
- Communicate results throughout the organization
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products
- Experience building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience with product documentation, product-management practices, and writing functional requirements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Skills:
- Self-starter, with the ability to learn quickly and independently
- Professional, articulate verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA from Tier 1 institute
- Experience with Jira or Figma.
- Worked in B2B product startups or MNC setups or Big Tech or FAANG.
