Job Description

System Maintenance:
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and related hardware/software.
Ensure systems are secure, optimized, and running efficiently.

User Account Management:
Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory or similar systems.
Ensure users have the appropriate access levels while maintaining security standards.

Monitor System Health:
Conduct regular performance checks and monitor system logs to identify potential issues.
Report any system irregularities to senior team members for further assessment

Software & Patch Management:
Apply system patches, updates, and upgrades as required, under the guidance of senior administrators.
Assist in scheduling maintenance to minimize disruptions.
Troubleshooting:
Provide first line support for server and network issues.
Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff, documenting all troubleshooting steps taken.

Backups & Recovery:
Support routine data backup processes and assist with recovery procedures as needed.
Help to ensure that backup protocols are consistently followe'd and data integrity is maintained
  1. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. 1 to 3 years of experience in system administration, technical support, or a similar IT role.
  3. Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and network basics.
  4. Experience with system monitoring tools and remote management.
  5. Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and firewall configurations.
  6. Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash is a plus.
  7. Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a bonus
