Role & Responsibilities:
This role will sit within the Investment Banking Support team in Powai. The role will be responsible for supporting the EMEA Investment Banking COO office in developing and operating of daily business management, reporting, multiple governance committees, budgeting and the risk and control environment in Investment Banking in EMEA. In particular:
Support NFPE and BNF IB COO with daily IB business management
Support NFPE and BNF IB COO with various papers for governance committees
Support NFPE AND BNF Investment Banking COO office in implementing the Banking Control Framework
Support NFPE AND BNF Investment Banking COO office across various IB projects
Support with governance, controls and projects admin (including project management skills)
Performance of Banking Controls including KYC Salesforce, as required
Support in Operational Risk and Outsourcing Coordination for NFPE AND BNF Investment Banking
Prepare management presentations including risk assessments in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Provide inputs to Global/Investment Banking aggregate reporting
Maintaining a training and reporting requirements
Support the review and drafting of IBD Procedures
Provide support to non-financial risk programmes including regulatory and business change globally, as required
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and regional counterparts at senior levels
Good experience in Investment Banking and understanding of product spectrum and Investment Banking operations
Comfortable coordinating and developing dashboards and status reports related to IB business
Ability to breakdown unstructured problems and identify potential solutions
Ability to work independently and in a team environment remotely
Experience in operating Risk and Control environment for a large front office business
Ability to engage with, and deliver to, stakeholders in Investment Banking and Global Markets
Ability to project manage multiple department wide projects and initiatives
Strong people skills, operating at all levels of the business and across the Investment Banking division
Build and maintain a network with all relevant stakeholders across Banking and Corporate functions.
