Subfamily DescriptionThe Cloud Architect covers the development of Cloud Infra solution architecture designed to meet specific needs and works as a part of a Domain team. Contains the definition of an architecture which comprises an integration design and specification of products and / or services which makeup the solution.

ImpactImpact is short-term and usually departmental/project in scope. Accountable for quality, accuracy and efficiency of own and/or team achievements. Actions and errors can have program, project, functional impact.

Scope & ContributionIndividual Contributor: Performs and/or coordinates day-to-day activities to meet departmental/project objectives. Carries out root/cause analysis in more complex problems. Can develop and implement recommendations. Managerial/Supervisory: Direct supervisory responsibilities for people. Typically first level (and lowest level) of solid line management. Carries out variety of complex activities according to plan within broader area of responsibility, analyses problems. Decision-making typically according to established solutions.

Knowledge & ExperienceStrong Experience / Mastery of Cloud discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and practice. Has an outstanding track record and deep understanding of Nokia CNS Cloud Blueprint architecture (NCP). Expert in more than one Cloud area NCP, OCP, AWS with strong IP networking background. Typically requires 5-6 years extensive relevant experience and a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree. Hands on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, Automation technologies and has previously worked as an expert integrator troubleshooting complex problems in Cloud deliveries.

• Develops customer specific cloud architecture (NCP, OCP, AWS, etc..) and high-level solution design (HLD).
• Develops the LLD (Low Level Design) including cluster configurations and manifests, working in close partnership with Network planning / design team and Customer
• Understands and captures the critical inputs of stakeholders and translates them into effective requirements and solutions.
• Specifies and designs effective cloud infra solutions, through the high as well as low level design of architecture, to meet customer needs.
• Engages in hands on delivery activities with Cloud Integrators. Provider expert leadership in deployment and troubleshooting.
• Applies solution architecture standards processes and principles, to create and maintain a solution's integrity over time, including verification that the solution meets the clients requirements
• Keeps close contact with customer's CTO / Chief Architect team.
• Provides direction and sets expectations for creation of new business opportunities (CRs) and evaluates new technology solutions.
• Acts as a senior Cloud subject matter expert, typically at a global or regional level.
• Participates in large, complex and / or key customer solution selling cases..
• Develops the full scope of the Cloud solution, partnering with other organisations to achieve workable solutions.
• Research, designs, plans, develops and evaluates an effective solution in specialised domains to meet customers' requirements and outcomes, thanks to high as well as low level design of architecture.
• Solves highly complex or novel Cloud problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment
