Job Description


The FM Engineer IP will be responsible for end-to-end handling of network operations. Providing technical consultation and resolving queries/ incidents in our Managed Assurance Services Portfolio.
 Please feel free to apply if you have 3+ years of experience covering below with a bachelors or equivalent degree. 
  • Must have a strong understanding of Protocols:TCP/IP,IPv4 & IPv6 addressing & IP subnetting, VLAN's, Ethernet, SNMP, management (Telnet, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, TACACS+)
  • Knowledge & Hands-on experiences of protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), signalling protocols (RSVP-TE, LDP).
  • Proficiency in Designing, Implementing & Troubleshooting IP/MPLS Network core and services design, including L2 VPNs and L3 VPNs, Seamless MPLS, Segment Routing.
  • Network and services migration.
  • Analyse and resolve network hardware and software connectivity issues.
  • Network Tools analysis for capacity planning and proactive fault finding.
  • Respond to incoming tickets, troubleshoot, and escalate, if necessary.
  • Familiarity with Nokia knowledge of 7950,7750, 7210, 7250 and 7705 product lines
  • Candidate should be flexible to work in 24*7 rotational shift.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system is plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, NRS-I, NRS-II) are a plus.
  • Third party router expertise, including Cisco/Juniper product lines is a plus.
  • Automation related technologies, including Python, Ansible is a plus.

    •  As a part of the team, you will 
  • Provide technical support for IP Core nodes (Analysis, Troubleshooting & fixing the issues reported) on already deployed to end customer/user.
  • Technical Operations support for Customer Team.
  • Manages technical escalations for technical requests, emergency cases and outages internally and towards customer. Support customers network performance and evolution.
  • Manages network SW and HW configuration information.
  • Acts as the prime technical interface towards customer, subcontractors and 3rd party suppliers as well as internally towards several organizations.
  • Liaise closely with Multiple teams to work on the operation faults and technical management to ensure the Network stability.
  • Monitors and reports customers life network performance and acts to ensure networks availability including e.g. customer SLA fulfilment
  • Support and perform competence development of local technical teams.
  • Ensure multiple network Element are connected and all functions are working well.
  • Handling Critical and Emergency network incidents with stakeholders/Care.
