Family Description
Information Technology (IT) acts as an internal function the developing, running, and maintaining of the IT systems and platforms Nokia is running on. Develops and maintains applications to meet the business needs of the organization. Covers the performance and monitoring of day-to-day database and system activities as well as the provision of remote support to users regarding hardware and software problems.
Subfamily Description I
T Architecture (IAM) comprises the definition and management of enterprise architecture (including solution, security, process & information, and integration architecture), which aligns with and supports Nokia's business strategy, mode of operation, and business needs.

Impact is long-term through individual and team contributions. Scope is primarily within own subject area in a function/unit. Actions and errors impact on program, project or function. Provides measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the organization's business strategies, with some impact on business unit/ function overall results.
Scope & Contribution
People Manager: Manage geographically distributed team across multiple time zones. Can analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. Managerial/Supervisory: Clear managerial responsibilities for people. Typically first level of solid line management. Interprets policies. Ensures existing plans are put into operation. Recognized expert in their field (depth & breadth). Typically requires 5-8 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.
