Do you have an extensive understanding about Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and have you gained a deep knowledge of GXP and pharmaceutical production? As a Senior MES Consultant, you will coordinate the development of master batch records in the MES systems to support the customers in meeting the requirements for pharmaceutical product production.

NNE Manufacturing IT is a full-service provider of IT solutions within manufacturing for the pharma and biotech industries. We work with consultancy, design, implementation, and validation of IT solutions. You will be working in an innovative and agile department with approximately 90 NNE-employed engineers and consultants from other companies.

How you might spend your days
As Specialist - MES, youll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, youll be:

• Developing Functional Specification for Master recipe across project
• Requirement gathering with process team
• Oversee and develop the setup, modification, and optimization of batch recipes within the MES and DCS environments.
• Work with production and engineering teams to fine-tune batch processes, ensuring recipe parameters are aligned with production goals and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to recipe execution and integration between MES and DCS systems.
• Act as the SME for the integration and synchronization between MES and DCS systems, focusing on batch management recipes.
• Ensure the effective and seamless flow of batch data between MES (e.g., PAS-X, Opcenter, or Syncade etc) and DCS systems (e.g., 800XA, DeltaV, etc).
• Provide technical expertise in ensuring that batch recipes in the DCS are properly configured, controlled, and executed in alignment with MES requirements.
• Utilizing your facilitating skills, show confidence and support some of our clients most complex manufacturing execution issues, coordinate with LoB
• Establish yourself as SME of your field, review work of Engineers in own discipline , maintain disciplinary consistency, quality and compliance and
• Ensure changes to scope of work are brought to the attention of project management
• Share knowledge across projects for technical and project execution alignment within own discipline
• Plan and take technical responsibility for own discipline
• Responsible of gathering technical requirements through a variety of techniques (e.g., facilitated workshops, work sessions, technical analysis)
• Conducting and ensuring that workflows / recipes are successfully and compliantly designed, developed, deployed in line with site business processes and technical standards
• Commissioning and undertaking test and qualification of IT systems in manufacturing environments
• Estimating and coordinating own tasks along with distributing the same in the team

The miles you ve walked
To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• An engineering, computer scientist or similar degree or having pharmaceutical production experience
• Experience in Batch management system - recipe design, development, testing, knowhow of installations, sound knowledge of interfacing of MES
• Working knowledge on Pharma MES system e.g. PAS-X/Syncade etc
• Good process understanding e.g. Black Utilities, Raw Materials, Clean Utilities etc
• Experience with developing workflows, recipes in Pharma MES systems
• Good process understanding e.g. Black Utilities, Raw Materials, Clean Utilities etc
• Experience from a consultancy company or project experience
• Have proven Leadership skills
