You
will join our Finance Team, consisting of approximately 25 highly skilled
employees. We engage and interact with a variety of stakeholders on all levels
in the organization. Regardless of which of these many stakeholders we face,
our commitment is to take a wingman position; ensuring smooth financial
processes to support the business in daily operations, Identifying and
mitigating financial risks and ensuring compliance with regulations, accounting
standards, and corporate governance principles.

The role will include a close dialogue with the Finance team, where you will work as a team of 7 ensuring frequent feedback and knowledge sharing, but a lot of responsibility will be delegated leaving you with a high degree of independence.

How you might spend your days
As a Senior Accountant
(Accounts Receivable), youll be working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary
team where your daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Revenue
Recognition: Ensure
accurate and timely recognition of revenue in accordance with applicable
accounting standards and company policies.
Financial
Workings and Postings: Prepare and post journal entries, maintain general
ledger accounts, and perform account reconciliations.
Invoice
Issuance: Generate
and issue invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
contractual terms.
Payment
Receipts: Monitor
and record incoming payments, manage accounts receivable, and follow up on
outstanding invoices.
GST
Compliance: Handle
GST-related tasks, including filing returns, reconciling GST accounts, and
ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Time
Card Support: Assist
employees with time card filling, ensure accurate recording of work hours,
and address any related queries.
Expense
Verification: Verify
and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company
policies and accuracy of submissions.
Forex
Coordination: Coordinate
with employees regarding foreign exchange arrangements, ensuring smooth
and compliant transactions.
Continuously evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and automation.
Implement best practices to streamline accounts payable processes and minimize errors.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize resource utilization.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, and financial analysis.
Bank Reconciliation - Review and validate incoming and outgoing payments. Perform weekly and monthly reconciliation of all Bank accounts.
Inter co. reconciliation - Perform Monthly and yearly reconciliations of intercompany balances, including accounts receivable & accounts payables.
To apply for the position there are some things that
are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for
you to succeed in this role:
Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
6 to 8 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on revenue recognition and financial postings.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GST regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Good knowledge in Excel & Power point presentations
