Automation Test Engineer - C#/Appium (4-6 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced C# Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Appium to join our growing QA team.

This role will be instrumental in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks for our mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, proficiency in C#, and hands-on experience with Appium for mobile test automation.

Responsibilities :

- Test Automation Framework Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks1 using C# and Appium for mobile (iOS and Android) applications.

- Test Script Creation : Write and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing of mobile apps.

- Appium Expertise : Utilize Appium for mobile application testing across different platforms and devices.

- C# Proficiency : Leverage strong C# skills to develop and maintain test code.

- Test Case Design : Collaborate with QA team to design and develop comprehensive test cases.

- Test Data Management : Manage and maintain test data for automated test execution.

- CI/CD Integration : Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.

- Defect Tracking : Report and track defects using a defect tracking system.

- Test Reporting : Generate and analyze test reports to provide insights into application quality.

- Collaboration : Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.

- Staying Current : Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Technical Skills :

- C# (Essential)

- Mobile Test Automation Frameworks : Appium (Essential)

- Testing Frameworks : NUnit, xUnit, MSTest (Preferred)

- Defect Tracking Tools : Jira, Bugzilla, or similar (Preferred)

- Design Patterns : Page Object Model (POM), Factory Pattern, or similar

- API Testing (Preferred) : REST Assured, Postman

- Performance Testing (Preferred) : JMeter, Gatling

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a C# Test Automation Engineer, specializing in Appium.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

- Proficiency in C# and Appium.

- Experience with mobile application testing across iOS and Android platforms.

- Experience with test automation framework development.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
