Salesforce DevOps Architect (7-9 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Salesforce DevOps Architect with 7+ years of experience to lead the design, implementation, and management of our Salesforce DevOps strategy.

This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce development and deployment processes, expertise in DevOps principles and tools, and strong leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will be a thought leader in Salesforce DevOps, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities :

- DevOps Strategy & Architecture : Design and implement a comprehensive and scalable Salesforce DevOps strategy, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and environment management.

- CI/CD Pipeline Development : Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications, leveraging tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Release Management : Define and implement release management processes, including branching strategies, code merging, and deployment automation.

- Environment Management : Design and manage Salesforce development, testing, and production environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

- Source Code Management : Implement and enforce best practices for source code management using Git or other version control systems.

- Deployment Automation : Automate the deployment process to minimize manual intervention and reduce deployment time.

- Monitoring & Alerting: Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues in Salesforce environments.

- Collaboration & Communication : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders.

- Mentorship & Leadership : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams on Salesforce DevOps best practices.

- Continuous Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps processes, tools, and methodologies.

Technical Skills :

- Deep understanding of Salesforce development, configuration, and administration.

- Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.

- Version Control : Git (Essential)

- Deployment Tools : SFDX, ANT, Flosum, Copado, or similar deployment tools.

- Scripting Languages : Apex, JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL.

- Experience with configuration management tools is a plus.

- Monitoring & Alerting : Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, AppDynamics, or similar.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or Architect, with a strong focus on DevOps.

- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Salesforce DevOps solutions.

- Deep understanding of Salesforce development and deployment processes.

- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and automation.

- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Salesforce certifications (e., Platform Developer I/II, Certified Technical Architect) are highly desirable
