JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Identify new vendors to meet the required Product/sub-assembly part requirements of existing as well as new products.
2) Visit and assess vendors for technical competence, financial credibility, delivery reliability.
3) Prepare and implement sourcing strategy, negotiations, and performance management of existing vendors.
4) Study vendor Risk and identify likely default in supply.
5) Collaborate for renewals and changes to existing agreements, searching for new vendors, restructuring Vendor programmes to suit dynamic environment.
6) Support vendor management reviews as required and provide periodic briefings to Higher Management on changes/performance against existing agreements with vendors.
7) Review Vendor Payments - Coordinate activities between Sourcing, Finance, and Vendors to ensure all invoices are raised & paid in accordance with contracts and monitoring cost management.
8) Prepare Cash Flow requirements and brief Higher Management of contract additions / terminations to enable accurate budget forecasting and compliance.
9) Should Have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
10) Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that vendors are meeting our quality and cost standards.
11) Highly organized and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
12) Should be ready to travel minimum 10 days in a month.
13) Should be able to manage a team & handling the mechanical drawings with accuracy.
14) Having experience in dealing vendor base at Gujarat and Punjab will be an added advantage.
