Job Summary:
We are seeking a proficient and experienced Assistant Manager - Non-Ferrous Foundry to oversee and manage operations in our state-of-the-art facility. The role involves supervising processes such as gravity die casting, sand casting, melting, pouring, heat treatment, and shot blasting for materials like aluminum, brass, bronze, and other copper alloys. The candidate will work closely with the Deputy Manager to ensure production targets, quality compliance, and continuous process improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Foundry Operations:
Supervise and manage non-ferrous casting processes, including gravity die casting and sand casting using resin sand core boxes.
Oversee critical operations such as melting, pouring, heat treatment, and shot blasting.
Ensure adherence to chemical and physical property requirements for alloys like A356/LM25, LM6, C83600, and C83300.
2.Production Planning and Scheduling:
Plan and schedule daily production activities to meet delivery timelines and quality standards. Monitor shift-wise production to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime.
Ensure seamless execution of production schedules through effective coordination with teams.
3.Quality Compliance and Improvement:
Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
Monitor metallurgical properties, including chemistry and physical attributes, of castings to meet stringent quality requirements.
Collaborate with the quality team to implement corrective and preventive measures.
4.Manpower Management:
Manage a team of contractual and permanent workers across shifts.
Provide training to workers on operational best practices, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and address skill gaps through structured training programs.
5.Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce rejections. Implement initiatives for quality enhancement and cost savings.
6.Reporting and Coordination: Report daily to the Deputy Manager, Non-Ferrous Foundry, on production status, challenges, and improvements.
Maintain and analyze production data for planning and decision-making.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of non-ferrous metallurgy, including alloy chemistry and physical properties.
Expertise in foundry operations like gravity die casting, sand casting, heat treatment (T6, T51), and shot blasting.
Familiarity with quality standards and metallurgical testing.
Additional Competencies:
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in production planning and shift management.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Company is good. Lower level employees are good. Technical knowledge can be developed.
Old management was good and support down level for improvement but new some managers have no technical knowledge they behave very rood with down level because they cannot solve problem and they like only oiling and shabby politics. Without oiling to particular one manager nobody can stay here.
