- Calculate and maintain accurate costs for products, materials, and processes.

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate valuation of inventory.
- Implement measures to control inventory costs, prevent wastage, and optimize stock levels.
7. Compliance and Audit Support
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies regarding cost accounting.
- Support audits by providing accurate cost data and documentation.
8. Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of costing professionals, providing guidance on best practices.
- Ensure the team meets deadlines and delivers accurate financial data.
9. System Implementation and Improvement
- Work with IT teams to ensure cost management systems are up to date and accurate.
- Implement new costing software or improvements in existing systems.
10. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with departments such as procurement, manufacturing, and sales to ensure cost-effective practices across the organization.
