Job Overview:
As the IT Head, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization. With a wealth of experience exceeding 20 years in IT Governance & Planning, IT Security, and the successful delivery of large-scale IT projects, including application development & support, AI, ML, and RPA, you will be a key driver of our digital transformation.
Preferred Certifications : PMP, ITIL, Azure/AWS, Microsoft Certified Professional.
Proven Project Management experience for 10+ years, showcasing the successful handling of large-scale projects in various IT domains.
In-depth understanding and working knowledge of database tools, coding platforms, and cutting-edge technologies such as Python, AI, ML, RPA, Orchestrator, etc.
Sound knowledge in IT Governance and Planning, IT Hardware and Software Security, IT Infrastructure Management, system operations, servers, networking, and budgeting.
Soft Skills: Presentation, People Management, Good Communication Skills
Roles & Responsibilities-
1. Strategic Planning and Leadership:
Develop and implement the overall IT strategy aligned with the organizational goals.
Provide strategic leadership and guidance for the IT department, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with senior management to understand and address the organizations technology needs.
2. Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all IT projects within the Indian Region.
Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Implement project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
3. IT Governance and Compliance:
Establish and enforce IT governance policies, procedures, and standards.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
Implement risk management strategies and protocols.
4. IT Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage.
Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the IT infrastructure.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend updates or improvements.
5. IT Security:
Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to safeguard the organizations information assets.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
6. Application Development and Support:
Lead the development and maintenance of applications to meet business requirements.
Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of applications.
Collaborate with business units to understand their application needs and priorities.
7. Emerging Technologies:
Stay informed about emerging technologies such as AI, ML, and RPA.
Assess the potential impact of new technologies on the organization and recommend adoption strategies.
8. Budgeting and Resource Management:
Develop and manage the IT budget for the Indian Region.
Optimize resource allocation and utilization to achieve project and organizational objectives.
9. Vendor Management:
Evaluate, select, and manage external vendors and service providers.
Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure value for money.
10. Team Development and Management:
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
11. Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between IT initiatives and business goals.
Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and achievements.
12. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
