Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs across the entire supply chain.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, demand forecasting, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with key vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure continuous supply of products to meet market demands.
- Manage logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution networks.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
- Lead initiatives to improve supply chain processes through automation and technology.
- Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with other departments such as merchandising, finance, and store operations to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing direction, coaching, and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the retail or hypermarket sector.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, procurement, and logistics.
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain technologies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve supply chain performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
