Job Description
Position: Finance Associate / Finance Administrator
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual for a Finance Profile position. This role will involve supporting the finance team with accounting tasks, administrative work, and data management using tools like Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will have a B.Com degree and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance Support:
oPrepare and process accounting entries in compliance with company policies.
oReconcile bank statements and assist in month-end and year-end financial closings.
oManage accounts payable
oAssist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and audits.
Administrative Tasks:
oProvide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, record-keeping, and document management.
oCoordinate with other departments and maintain correspondence for financial matters.
oOrganize and maintain financial records and databases.
Data Management and Reporting:
oUse Microsoft Excel to create and manage financial data, track transactions, and generate reports.
oAssist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
oEnsure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained for auditing purposes.
Qualifications:
Education:
oBachelor s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
Skills & Competencies:
oProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions).
oBasic knowledge of accounting principles.
oStrong organizational and administrative skills.
oExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.
oGood communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in a finance or administrative role is a plus but not required.
