Job Description
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, payments, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
- Process and post financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, and contribute to the analysis of financial data.
- Maintain organized and well-documented financial records, both physically and electronically.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in monitoring and managing petty cash and expense reimbursements.
- Contribute to the implementation of financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information as required.
- Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting software like Tally and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in accounting standards and procedures.
- Previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not mandatory.
