POSITION: Store Manager
NATURE OF JOB/ASSIGNMENT:
- Achieve store targets and ensure profitable store.
- Ensure Adherence to SOPs in store.
- Store strategic business planning and effective implementation to ensure Shrinkage & Cost control
- Ensure prevalence of optimum customer satisfaction in the customer complaints.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team -Train, develop, guide and supervise team in the store.
EDUCATION Mandatory Preferable: Graduate Graduate, P.G. (Business)
EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of retail experience
EXPOSURE:
- Retail experience of Furniture/ HH or White Goods pref.
- Team handling skills and store size exposure atleast 10,000 sq ft.
AGE GROUP: 30+
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To achieve the sales targets for the store by continuously motivating and encouraging the Hosts. To monitor the day-to-day sales for the store.
- To closely monitor the Conversion ratio and average ticket size for the store and continuously improve on the same.
- To ensure that the TL/ADM/DM effectively monitor all Customer queries (to handle the same in case of escalation)/ Institutional enquiries and higher level of conversion.
- To ensure once in a day personal sales order booking and completing the full cycle of sales in absence of TL/ADM/DM.
- To ensure that customers receive satisfactory service before and after sales (delivery) and quality goods.
- To organize for attending customer complaint and resolve the same in coordination with QA.
- To monitor the entire store processes critically. Arrange to take necessary corrective actions through the concerned supportive functions such as Admin, Back store, VM etc.
- Provide new ideas / innovative suggestions for store processes.
- To ensure effective implementation of all Marketing / Operational Strategies and Initiatives in the store for increasing the footfall.
- To assign store employees to specific departments in terms of new joinees and shuffling.
- To handle employee grievance and counsel them time to time and develop a highly motivated team in the store.
- To ensure through the HR/Administrative Officer that all half yearly Performance Appraisal (HYPE) for CCAs are being carried out in the store as per the HR System.
- To conduct regular sessions / briefing (on every Saturday) of CCAs on various aspects of selling / motivational and customer handling skills etc. in a structured manner in coordination with HR.
- To ensure regular on the job training / coaching on Product Knowledge in co-ordination with the Merchandising team and on the basis of Product Manual
- To ensure all HR SOPs are followed properly and timely with the help of HR.
- To coordinate all backend operations e.g. IT, Logistics, Commercial, Supply Chain Management etc for smooth operations and for any trouble-shooting requirement.
- To ensure proper care of the store and its merchandise through the respective departmental staff (Administrative Officer, Back Store Incharge & Assistant Administrative Officer).
- To bring cost consciousness in store through regular monitoring of all operational cost areas.
- To analyze the walk-in reports. Forward the same to the Head-Retail Operations and RRM on weekly basis.
- To ensure 100% display completion report in SAP.
- To conduct random check on product barcodes - price description.
- To ensure foolproof store documentation e.g. to check for irregularities in documenting atleast once in a month (all registers).
- To visit atleast 12 customers per annum for Free Health Check-up (FHC) for Furniture category
- To keep a track on all competitors activities and suggest pro-active actions on all required areas.
- To bring improvement in the store processes based on Mystery Customers feedback and HO Feedback.
- To generate innovative ideas from the store and send to RRM/ GM- RO
- To ensure emergency preparedness to handle different situations.
- To take up new assignment relating to new stores or activities as and when given by the Management.
- All the issues unresolved by the SM has to be escalated to the immediate manager or HO to the related departments.
