Technical Delivery Manager - Google Cloud Platform (10-20 yrs)

Job Summary:

As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of cloud projects utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proven experience in technical project management, with a focus on data governance, ETL processes, and cloud solutions. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating with cross-

functional teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your role will involve strategic planning, risk management, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

- Lead the planning and implementation of GCP projects.

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.

- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and provide regular project status reports.

Client Management:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact.

- Ensure client needs are met, and expectations are managed throughout the project lifecycle.

- Conduct regular status meetings with clients and stakeholders.

Team Coordination:

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and QA to ensure smooth project execution.

- Assign and monitor the work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time, and within budget.

Risk and Issue Management :

- Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as necessary.

- Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Continuous Improvement :

- Continuously improve project delivery processes and tools.

- Stay up to date with GCP advancements and industry trends to enhance project delivery and client solutions.

Technical Expertise :

- Manage cloud-based data solutions and infrastructure on GCP, Provide guidance on leveraging GCP services for efficient data storage, processing and analytics.

- Strong knowledge of GCP services and architecture.

- In-depth understanding of data governance frameworks, including data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data stewardship and ensure data management practices align with organizational goals.

- Lead the implementation and optimization of Ab-Initio ETL solutions for large-scale data processing.

- Oversee the development and deployment of QlikSense dashboards, ensuring that data visualization solutions meet business requirements.

- Oversee and optimize Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes to enable seamless data integration and ensure data accuracy.

- Work closely with data engineers to design and improve ETL pipelines, ensuring scalability and reliability.
