Zimetrics Technologies - Cloud Architect - Google Cloud Platform (10-20 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect with expertise in Java/Python and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, and oversee robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cloud architecture, application development, and deployment, coupled with a deep understanding of GCP services and cloud best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures using GCP.

-Develop cloud-native applications and microservices using Java and/or Python.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architecture, and deliver solutions.

- Lead cloud migration efforts for existing on-premise or hybrid systems to GCP.

- Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

- Establish and enforce cloud governance, policies, and security standards.

- Create and maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture and processes.

- Mentor and guide development teams on cloud best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on GCP.

- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.

- Expertise in GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, etc.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization tools.

- Proficient in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and network architecture.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

- GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect).
