Mis Executive

JOB SUMMARY

An MIS Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's Management Information Systems, generating reports, analyzing data, and ensuring smooth IT operations to support decision-making and business strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Management:

• Collect, organize, and maintain data from various sources.
• Create and manage databases to store and retrieve information efficiently.
• Regularly update systems to reflect accurate and current data.
  

Report Generation:

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per business requirements.
• Analyze trends and patterns in data to provide actionable insights.
• Prepare presentations and dashboards for management.
  

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Monitor MIS systems for performance and ensure their smooth functioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any system-related issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the IT team for software updates and hardware maintenance.
  

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for improving system processes and workflows.
• Automate manual reporting and repetitive tasks using tools like Excel macros or BI tools.
  

Stakeholder Communication:

• Collaborate with different departments to understand their data and reporting needs.
• Ensure timely delivery of reports and insights to relevant stakeholders.
  

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure data security and confidentiality.
• Adhere to organizational policies and regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

1. Education:

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

2. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Basic programming knowledge (e.g., SQL, Python) is an advantage.

3. Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  

4. Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or MIS-related roles.
