Job Summary:

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of China Business Development will lead NIIT's strategic growth in China, focusing on expanding the company's portfolio through the acquisition of new accounts, while maintaining and growing key existing partnerships with universities, colleges, and corporate clients. This role requires a deep understanding of China's education and corporate training markets, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships. The SVP will play a key role in accelerating NIIT's growth in mainland China.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development Strategy:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to acquire new business accounts and expand NIIT's presence in the education and corporate sectors.

- Identify new opportunities for partnerships with universities, colleges, and corporations.

- Maintain and grow existing key accounts to ensure long-term profitability and customer satisfaction.

- University and College Partnerships:

- Establish and strengthen partnerships with higher education institutions through collaborative programs and academic alliances.

- Maintain and expand existing academic partnerships, ensuring continued growth and engagement.

Corporate Partnerships:

- Build new relationships with corporate clients to offer NIIT's innovative training solutions and corporate learning programs.

- Manage and grow key corporate accounts by understanding their training needs and delivering high-impact, customized solutions.

Account Management and Growth:

- Focus on both new account acquisition and the expansion of existing accounts, ensuring sustained business growth.

- Collaborate with sales and account management teams to nurture relationships and ensure customer success.

Market Expansion:

- Identify and pursue new market opportunities for NIIT's education and corporate offerings, with a focus on strategic partnerships.

- Stay updated on industry trends, government policies, and evolving market demands to continuously innovate NIIT's business models and solutions.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of business development and account management strategies.

- Collaborate with NIIT's global leadership to align local initiatives with global goals and leverage resources effectively.

Relationship Management:

- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the education and corporate sectors.

- Represent NIIT at industry events, conferences, and high-level meetings to promote the company's brand and partnership opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in China or Southeast Asia.

- Proven experience in acquiring new business accounts and expanding existing partnerships in the education or corporate training sectors.

- Strong understanding of the Chinese education system, corporate training market, and government policies.

- Excellent track record in maintaining and growing key accounts, with a focus on long-term customer relationships.

- Strong network of relationships with universities, colleges, and corporate clients.

- Excellent leadership, team management, and strategic thinking skills.

- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.

- Fluent in English, with the ability to speak and understand Chinese language being an added advantage.

Preferred:

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.

- Experience working in multinational corporations or global organizations.
