Academic Counsellor

We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and communicative individual (FEMALE CANDIDATES ONLY) to join our team as an Academic Counsellor Cum Tele caller. This role combines the responsibilities of providing academic guidance to prospective students and supporting administrative efforts through tele calling. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, have a strong understanding of academic programs, and be skilled in handling inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner with 2 to 3 years of experience in Telecalling. Fluency in Kannada and English is mandatory for this role. Candidates located nearby the office location will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Counselling:

• Provide detailed information and guidance to prospective students about academic programs, admission procedures, and career opportunities.
• Understand the educational background and aspirations of students and help them select suitable programs or courses.
• Assist students in understanding the benefits, curriculum, career paths, and prerequisites of various academic offerings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends, curriculum updates, and university offerings to provide accurate and effective guidance.
• Guide students through the application and admission processes.
• Follow up with students to ensure they complete the admission processes and address any concerns.
• Assist students and parents with information on financial aid, scholarships, and other support services.

Telecalling:

• Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents to explain academic programs and encourage enrollment.
• Answer inbound calls and provide information regarding available courses, schedules, fees, and other academic queries.
• Follow up with leads and maintain a structured pipeline of prospective students.
• Address any questions or concerns from potential students and their families over the phone in a polite and informative manner.
• Assist in lead generation campaigns, surveys, and promotional activities through telecalling.
• Ensure all communications are documented in the CRM system, including notes, feedback, and follow-up reminders.
• Meet call quotas and a little bit of sales targets as determined by the department.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Experience: Previous experience in academic counselling, tele calling is preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Kannada and English are mandatory.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and faculty.
• Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to handle concerns, objections, and queries with a solution-focused approach.

Additional Requirements:

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Kannada and English (both spoken and written) is mandatory. Knowledge of any other regional languages will be a plus.
• Location Preference: Candidates residing nearby the (Jayanagar) office location will be preferred.
