Job Description
We are looking for a Software Project Manager to lead and oversee software development projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities: - Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets , ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Coordinate with development teams, designers, QA testers, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Implement and manage Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies , depending on project requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues , proactively addressing challenges that may impact project success.
- Ensure software solutions meet quality standards and align with business needs.
- Communicate project updates, status reports, and key metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
- Facilitate team meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to improve team productivity.
- Work closely with clients and end users to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction .
- Manage resource allocation , team workload, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software project management.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Scrum methodologies .
- Experience with project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills .
- Strong understanding of technical concepts, programming languages, and software architecture (preferred).
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in a collaborative environment.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills .
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master certification .
- Knowledge of DevOps, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD processes .
- Experience in budget management and resource planning .
- Familiarity with UI/UX best practices and user-centered design principles.
