Senior Automation Engineer

 So, what’s the role all about?

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and quality of our AI-driven Contact Center Copilot solution. You will design, execute, and automate test strategies to validate the performance, scalability, and functionality of LLM-based and AI-powered features. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to creating a seamless, efficient, and customer-focused product that excels in operational environments. This role requires strong expertise in automation, collaboration, and a deep understanding of AI-driven systems.

How will you make an impact?

• Develop and implement test plans for AI and LLM-based features in the Contact Center Copilot solution.
• Create and maintain automation frameworks for API, performance, and integration testing.
• Validate the accuracy and performance of LLMs, including prompt engineering and fine-tuning results.
• Conduct end-to-end testing for bot functionalities and CRM integrations.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and address defects early in the development cycle.
• Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of new and existing features.
• Execute performance and stress tests to validate system scalability and reliability.
• Test containerized deployments on platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy requirements in testing processes.
• Verify NLU models for intent recognition and entity extraction accuracy.
• Contribute to exploratory testing to enhance product usability and user experience.
• Document and report defects with clear reproducibility steps and validation criteria.
• Provide insights and feedback to improve the overall quality of the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in the development and execution of QA best practices.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and share knowledge across teams.

Have you got what it takes?

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of QA experience, with a focus on automation and AI-powered systems.
• Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Experience with LLMs, including testing their outputs and performance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized environments.
• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Experience integrating QA into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of NLU validation and conversational AI workflows.
• Analytical skills for debugging and resolving complex issues.
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation for testing processes and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for quality and continuous improvement in the software development process.
• Eagerness to learn and adopt emerging QA tools and techniques.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
