Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Automation Test Lead to spearhead the automation testing efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will lead the test automation team, design efficient testing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and effective test coverage.

• Leadership and Team Coordination:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of automation testers.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
• Automation Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement robust automation testing strategies and frameworks.
  • Define automation testing objectives, processes, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and technologies.
• Test Planning and Design:
  • Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to define test requirements.
  • Design and maintain reusable and scalable test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Ensure thorough test coverage and alignment with business goals.
• Execution and Monitoring:Oversee the execution of automated test cases and analyze results.
  • Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and risks.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Integration with CI/CD:
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
  • Optimize automation scripts for faster execution and reporting.
• Stakeholder Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for automation testing discussions with stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and concise updates on test results, quality metrics, and project risks.
  • Offer actionable insights and recommendations for quality improvement.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and QA practices.
  • Identify areas of improvement in the current testing processes and implement enhancements.

• Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within QA.
  • Strong expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Cypress, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation.
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities.

• ISTQB or similar certification in software testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing and infrastructure.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
