Scrum Master

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to facilitate the Agile development process and ensure the effective delivery of high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will act as a servant leader, coach, and advocate for Agile principles, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

• Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies:
  • Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and review meetings.
  • Ensure time-boxing and adherence to Agile best practices.
• Remove Impediments:
  • Identify and address roadblocks that hinder team progress.
  • Act as a buffer between external distractions and the team.
• Coach the Team:
  • Guide the team on Agile principles, practices, and values.
  • Promote self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Monitor and Track Progress:
  • Use Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to monitor team performance.
  • Ensure transparency of work progress to the team and stakeholders.
• Foster a Collaborative Environment:
  • Encourage open communication and a culture of trust within the team.
  • Support team dynamics and conflict resolution.
• Promote Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive retrospectives to identify and implement actionable improvements.
  • Advocate for and implement Agile tools and processes.

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in Agile environments.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Knowledge of scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale.
• Experience working in software development or technology-driven environments.
