Technical Head

Position Overview:

The Elevator Technical Head is responsible for overseeing all the technical operations. This role requires expertise in elevator systems, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team of technicians & technical engineers. The Elevator Technical Head is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of elevators, compliance with regulatory standards, and timely resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all the technical operations of elevators, including installation, maintenance, repairs, and modernization activities.
• Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for the procurement of spare parts and equipment required.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and ensure everything is safe and secure.
• Lead and supervise elevator technicians & technical engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their professional development and performance.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of work.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and best practices to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, new technologies, and regulatory changes related to elevator systems.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions to improve elevator reliability and efficiency.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget for elevator installation, maintenance, repairs, and modernization projects.
• Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure efficient utilization of resources without compromising safety or quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Extensive experience (typically 12+ years) in the installation, maintenance, repair and every aspect of elevators, with a solid understanding of various elevator systems, components, and technologies.
• Strong technical knowledge of elevator safety codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide every technical member
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
