Structural Engineer (Mid-level)

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer with 4 to 6 years experience to join our dynamic team. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing projects in various sectors, including infrastructure, industrial and power plants. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in steel and reinforced concrete (RCC) designs, coupled with a proven track record of successful project execution.

• To play an effective role as a team member in structural engineering team.
• Perform structural analysis and design for projects in the infrastructure, industrial, and power plants sectors.
• Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Stay up to date with industry codes, standards, and best practices

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a candidate who has strong fundamental skills in structural analysis and design. A suitable candidate should have:

• B.E/B. Tech or M.E/MTech in Civil Engineering or related fields focused on structural engineering with good academic record.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, with a focus on steel and RCC design in the specified sectors (infrastructure, industrial, power plants, etc.).
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar tools.
• Solid knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., Indian Codes, AISC, ACI, ASCE, API, etc.).
• Proven expertise in managing and delivering reasonable scale projects within budget and schedule constraints.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Prior experience working on international projects will be an added advantage.
• Communicate ideas and thoughts to colleagues and clients of all levels.
