Job Description

Wayvida, a rapidly growing Online Learning Platform , is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in business development or sales, a strong ability to build client relationships, and a passion for education technology. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Hindi is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue potential clients (schools, universities, corporate clients) to expand Wayvida s customer base.
  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Source new leads through cold calling, networking, and social media, and qualify leads for potential conversion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and new clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Presentations & Proposals: Conduct product demonstrations and deliver tailored proposals that highlight how Wayvida can address client needs in the online learning space.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle, including lead nurturing, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to align strategies, share insights, and optimize sales efforts.
  • Market Research: Keep up to date with the latest trends in online education and technology, and identify ways to differentiate Wayvida from competitors.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) as set by management.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the EdTech or SaaS industry.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in Hindi is a plus.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with clients, deliver compelling sales pitches, and negotiate effectively.
  • Relationship-Building Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to develop lasting client relationships and trust.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a full sales cycle.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Goal-Oriented: Proactive, self-motivated, and driven by sales goals and targets.
  • Knowledge of Online Learning Platforms: Understanding of the online education industry and a passion for helping others learn and grow is a plus.
  • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
