Job Description

Nexgile, a recognized Digital Transformation Partner, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Executive (Inside Sales Specialist) to drive growth in AI/ML integration, cloud-native development, DevOps automation, and digital transformation services. This role involves a combination of business development, inside sales, client advisory, and lead generation, requiring expertise in consultative selling, market trend analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate excels at identifying business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets through a combination of cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email marketing, and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Business Development & Market Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth market research on industries like healthcare digitization, fintech innovation, and retail automation.
  • Develop data-driven go-to-market strategies for example AI-driven analytics.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging trends (e.g., generative AI, IoT integration).
  • Generate new business opportunities via cold calling, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, webinar panels, and strategic partnerships.

2. Inside Sales & Lead Generation

  • Proactively generate and qualify leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and webinars.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
  • Convert inbound leads from marketing campaigns into qualified opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets (e.g., $1M+ in pipeline value).

3. Client Advisory & Relationship Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives (CTOs, CEOs, VP Sales, Operations Managers), aligning Nexgiles expertise with their digital transformation needs.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client pain points and propose tailored IT solutions.
  • Develop and present ROI-focused roadmaps
  • Ensure 95%+ client satisfaction through comprehensive journey management from discovery to post-sales handoff.

4. Collaboration & Innovation

  • Work closely with product managers, marketing teams, and technical teams to refine messaging for technical audiences.
  • Analyze client feedback to identify new service opportunities (e.g., AI ethics consulting, blockchain integration).
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and deliver predictive sales forecasts using historical data and market trends.

5. Sales Reporting & Performance Optimization

  • Maintain accurate sales reports in CRM tools, tracking key metrics and client interactions.
  • Present weekly/monthly sales reports to management, outlining progress towards targets.
  • Provide strategic feedback to improve sales processes, tools, and market positioning.

Qualifications & Skills: Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA is preferred for strategic roles.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT services sales, software consulting, or technology-based inside sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets ($1M+ deals).
  • Experience selling IT services like custom application development, cloud services, DevOps, AI/ML.
  • Strong experience in target industries (healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing) and regions (North America, EMEA).

Technical & Sales Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, sales intelligence platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Expertise in cold calling, email marketing, LinkedIn outreach, and inside sales best practices.
  • Strong ability to articulate technical concepts (e.g., microservices architecture, cloud computing) in business-friendly terms.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with cross-functional teams.
