Instructional Designer

Job Summary:

Newvision is seeking a skilled and creative Instructional Designer with 4 6 years of experience to design and develop engaging, high-quality learning materials. This is a contractor role, and the ideal candidate will have expertise in instructional design principles, e-learning tools, and creating customized training solutions that meet diverse business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective learning solutions.
• Develop instructional content, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, assessments, and job aids.
• Apply adult learning theories and instructional design best practices to create engaging, learner-centric experiences.
• Utilize e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms to build interactive training modules.
• Evaluate and revise training materials based on feedback and learner performance metrics.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment of learning materials with organizational goals.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in instructional design and e-learning technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4 6 years of experience as an Instructional Designer, preferably in corporate or professional services settings.
• Proficiency in e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of instructional design models like ADDIE or SAM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in instructional design or related areas.
• Graphic design and multimedia skills to enhance learning materials.
• Knowledge of SCORM, AICC, or xAPI standards.
• Familiarity with tools like Vyond, Canva, or other video production software.
