Newspace Research & Technologies - Full Stack Engineer - React.js/Python (8-12 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain web applications

- End-to-end ownership of production software from architecture to delivery.

- Design and develop high-quality and maintainable software following the agile paradigm.

- Translate use cases and requirements from program management to design software with high component reuse, wherever possible.

- Design highly scalable and testable systems.

- Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of our applications.

- Discover and fix programming bugs.

- Deploy your software onto various platforms like Jetson Nano.

- Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code.

- Set and maintain programming standards and best practices.

- Guide and upskill team members in their development journey.

Requirements :

- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language, comfortable with switching programming languages and frameworks.

- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

- Technical knowledge with a track record of successful delivery as an individual contributor.

- Ability to break down a big problem into chewable pieces with a structured approach.

- Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science or related field.

- Should be a team player.

- Knowledge of tools like git and docker.

- Good understanding of time and space complexity.

- Ability to represent projects to stakeholders.

Good to have :

- Experience with C# / Python / ROS.

- Web frontend development using ReactJS or other frameworks.

- Web backend development (Django, ASP.net, or others).

- Comfortable using Linux and shell scripting.

- Having worked with a scalable system of systems.

- Having worked with robotics systems.

- Having worked with distributed systems.

- Understanding of drones and systems like Ardupilot / PX4
