Android HAL Developer - Embedded C/C++

Role : Android Middleware , HAL , AOSP

Required Skills And Experience :

- Development Experience in infotainment Media, Phone, Camera , BT, Radio, Vehicle or any other Android HAL Modules.

- Programming experience in embedded C / C++ / Java / Android Middleware

- Good Knowledge of embedded OS concepts (Linux, Android Platform).

-Good understanding of Android architecture and Framework (AOSP, Binder IPC, Application framework).Board bring up, Kernel Migration and Android Pastry Migration.

- Working on Android HAL layer and realizing various customer requirements on Android.

- Experience on Android Audio Architecture, AIDL/HIDL interfaces, SE Linux policies etc.

- Good understanding of Android Architecture and Framework (AOSP, Application framework.).

- Multi-threaded programming using POSIX & Good understanding of Access control & user privilege mechanism in Linux

- Experience in using communication peripherals and good hold on concepts of CAN, Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, Wifi, A2B, AVB ETC .

- Hands on development experience & expertise in any one of the infotainment domains- connectivity, BT Phone, Android Auto etc.

- Hardware configuration and performance tuning.

- Interface with Various Domains within Android Product Line to achieve Stability metrics.

- Features and enhancements for customers.

- Ensure the delivery of features in scope, time and quality.

- Ensure that the SW process is applied in the project in consultation with SW-APQP.

- Report status, issues and progress of the SW development to the SW project lead.

- Effort estimation for Change Requests from Product Management.

- Ensure pre-integration testing and verification for the functional area and its features.

- Ensure the implementation of defined test strategies and document the achieved results.
