Role : Senior Software AutoSAR Engineer, Embedded Department
Overview :
As a Senior Software AutoSAR Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and integration of automotive software solutions, ensuring compliance with AUTOSAR standards and functional safety requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Software Development : Develop production-ready embedded software for automotive applications, including OEM automotive amplifiers and other similar audio processing products.
- Configuration and Integration : Configure and integrate software components, particularly using Vector DaVinci Developer, DaVinci Configurator, and similar AUTOSAR tools2.
- Functional Safety : Ensure that software development practices comply with functional safety standards (FuSa), and provide evidence and documentation to support safety assessments.
- Requirements Analysis: Analyze customer and internal requirements to create detailed software designs and test plans.
- Testing and Verification : Develop and execute unit test plans, integration test plans, and system-level tests to ensure all requirements are met with the highest software quality.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including off-shore development and validation teams, to support software development activities.
- Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve product requirements or performance issues in a timely manner.
- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of software designs, test plans, and test results to ensure traceability and accountability.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Extensive experience with AUTOSAR stack configuration (BSW and RTE) and tools like Vector DaVinci Developer and DaVinci Configurator2.
- Strong understanding of functional safety standards (FuSa) and their application in the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in embedded C programming and working knowledge of software development tools (debuggers, emulators, compilers).
- Ability to analyze schematics and debug hardware using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
