The Sales Manager (Technical Sales) plays a crucial role in driving the success of an organizations sales initiatives within the technical industry. This position is not merely about selling products, but requires a deep understanding of the technical aspects of these offerings to effectively communicate their value to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to technical products.
  • Improve knowledge about product and give proper presentation to the client
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure products meet client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.
  • Analyze sales data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and develop forecasts to meet sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with the sales team and provide feedback.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and showcase products.
  • Provide technical expertise during the sales process to help close deals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Ensure CRM systems are up-to-date with sales activities and client interactions.
  • Develop training programs for new sales personnel focusing on technical product knowledge.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of technical products and solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform technical presentations and demonstrations.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
