AEM Developer - Backend Architecture (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AEM Developer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related technologies, with a proven ability to design, develop, and deploy high-quality digital experiences.

This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- AEM Development : Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and other functionalities to meet business requirements.

- Technical Implementation : Implement custom functionalities within AEM using Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, and JCR.

- Frontend Development : Collaborate with UX/UI designers and front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of AEM with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- System Integration : Integrate AEM with third-party systems and APIs to extend functionality and enhance user experiences.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize AEM performance and ensure scalability by identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AEM implementations.

Quality Assurance :

- Adhere to coding standards and best practices.

- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Technology Updates :

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AEM, Adobe Experience Cloud, and related technologies.

Collaboration :

- Work effectively within an agile development environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (e., project managers, designers, content editors).

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 -10years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

- Strong proficiency in Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, and JCR.

- Experience in building and deploying AEM components, templates, and content fragments.

- Solid understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

- Experience integrating third-party systems and APIs with AEM.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with AEM's cloud-based services (e., AEM as a Cloud Service).

- Familiarity with other Adobe Experience Cloud products (e., Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign).

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for AEM projects.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- AEM Developer certification.
