Informatica Technical Lead (5-7 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Informatica Technical Lead to manage and optimize data integration and transformation processes.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the design, implementation, and support of ETL workflows using Informatica.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

ETL Development and Management :

- Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and related tools.

- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data transformation and integration processes.

- Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless data flow.

Technical Leadership :

- Lead a team of ETL developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise.

- Allocate tasks and manage project deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.

- Review and improve existing ETL codebase to align with best practices and performance standards.

Data Governance and Quality :

- Implement and enforce data quality checks and governance practices.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and workflows.

- Monitor and address data issues, ensuring consistency and accuracy across systems.

Process Automation and Optimization :

- Automate repetitive ETL tasks and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

- Explore and implement emerging technologies and tools to enhance data integration processes.

Programming Skills :

- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.

- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages like Python, Shell Scripting, or Java is a plus.

Data Integration :

- Hands-on experience integrating data from multiple sources, including APIs, flat files, and structured/unstructured databases.

- Familiarity with cloud-based data services (e., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Google Cloud Dataflow) is a plus.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- 5-7 years of experience in ETL development and data integration, with a focus on Informatica PowerCenter.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including star schemas, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices.

- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.

- Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys.

- Understanding of Big Data technologies (e., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.

- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools.

- Certifications in Informatica or related tools and platforms
