Title: Software Engineering Manager II

Experience: 12 Years - 15 Years

Location: Gurgaon

Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of data engineers supporting our service desk and field service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement best practices for data management, including SQL, Data Bricks, NoSQL databases, and reporting tools.
• Utilize PowerBI and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) to develop and deploy data solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in data engineering processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of industry experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience leading data engineering teams.
• Proficiency in SQL, Data Bricks, NoSQL databases, and reporting tools.
• Experience with PowerBI and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Architecting enterprise scale cloud applications
• Agile development experience
• Relevant certifications are highly appreciated.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with big data technologies and frameworks.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
• Proven track record of delivering complex data projects on time and within budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing data solutions for service desk and field service operations.
• Knowledge of big data technologies and tools.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI frameworks.
