Manager Trading Operations

Job Purpose

• Maintenance and monitoring the Exchange Trading operations as a functional user.
• Ensuring seamless live trading process with adherence to regulatory compliance and guidelines.
• Managing CTCL vendor and in-house Member on-boarding, monitoring ongoing compliance and Audits

Role & responsibilities

• Ensuring that exchange trading operations is running optimally and trading is taking place effectively
• Execution and monitoring of Start of Day and End of Day operations.
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with departmental SOP without any exception.
• Ensuring timely master maintenance of the Trading system and downstream system related parameters - Global market parameters, Market timing, Calendar maintenance and contract launch.
• Exercise control measure - Checker verification for changes in the master data.
• Managing and coordinating with team at primary and DR Site. Managing teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuous trading operations
• Ensure regulatory compliance including directives issued by SEBI
• Collating and timely data / report submission, tracking approval and ensuring timely implementation of directives including system changes.
• Attending SEBI inspection and audit
• System development Providing detailed Business Requirement, drafting functional test cases, functional testing (UAT) and providing sign off of testing
• Ensure smooth roll out of new system functionality in Trading system and downstream system
• Leading CTCL / IBT / STWT / Algo / ASP on-boarding related operations
• Ensuring compliance towards SEBI guidelines related to CTCL operations, User on-boarding and Proprietary Trading
• Working on cross functional projects related to Process Excellence at organization level which are targeting towards enhancing organizational control and ensure timely compliance of Regulatory norms.
• Monitoring compliance related to Business Continuity Plan of the Exchange and overview the compliance like corporate training, policy review and BCM meetings

Functional Competencies

• Basic knowledge of Derivatives market
• Knowledge of SEBI Regulations is preferred
• Knowledge of CTCL Operations
