Location : Chennai / Bangalore

Salary : 15 LPA

Experience : 5 to 8 Years

Working Hours : 2 PM - 10 PM (5 days a week, Work from Office)

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As part of the QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web applications by performing various testing activities in an Agile environment. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, bug-free products.

Responsibilities :

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web-based applications.

- Perform functional, regression, UI, and cross-browser testing.

- Collaborate with the development team and product owners to ensure that test cases cover all scenarios and requirements.

- Work within Agile methodology, participating in daily standups, sprint planning, and reviews.

- Report and track defects using JIRA, working closely with developers to resolve issues.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment processes and maintain environment stability.

- Identify, document, and help prioritize software bugs, assisting with their resolution.

- Create and maintain automated test scripts, if required.

- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the overall quality of the product.

- Review requirements and design documents to understand the application functionality and create corresponding test cases.

Must-Have Skills :

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Web Testing.

- Strong experience with UI Testing, including cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.

- Proficiency in JIRA for test management and bug tracking.

- Understanding of DevOps processes and tools.

- Solid experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban).

- Knowledge of the Finance Domain is preferred but not mandatory.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders effectively.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.

- Exposure to performance testing or load testing tools.

- Experience in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
